The World Health Organization (WHO) just released Potable Reuse: Guidance for Producing Safe Drinking-Water, a 140-page document that describes how to apply management systems to the production of safe drinking water from municipal wastewater. It builds on previous WHO guidelines for drinking-water quality, which provide information on water quality and the effective management and performance of potable reuse, as well as the application of appropriate management systems for direct and indirect potable reuse. The document is available for free download.
