In early November, the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) concluded Technical Committee meetings toward the ANSI-accredited consensus development of the 2018 editions of the Uniform Solar Energy and Hydronics Code (USEHC) and Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code (USPSHTC). The USPSHTC meeting was held via teleconference and the USEHC meeting was held at IAPMO’s World Headquarters West building in Ontario, CA. Read the full release here.
IAPMO, the Confederation of Indian Industry-Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) have entered into a MoU with the goal of implementing the Water Efficient Products – India (WEP-I 2017) standard in India. As a result of the MoU, the IGBC will adopt the standard for green product certification for plumbing products, considering an Indian context. Read more here.
PT IAPMO Group Indonesia and the Green Product Council Indonesia (GPCI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) appointing PT IAPMO Group Indonesia as a Verification Body for Green Label Indonesia certification. As a result of the MoU, PT IAPMO Group Indonesia will provide product testing and verification inspection for manufacturers applying to obtain Green Label Indonesia certification.
