The Eastern Water Quality Association (EWQA) announced its educational lineup for the Fall Conference. EWQA Board President Doug Ramer (Martin Water) said, “This is one of the greatest lineups we’ve had, and there is something for everyone: sales training, technical training and classes specifically for owners and managers.” The EWQA strives to provide education on upcoming issues that affect the industry, so included will be a class on the emerging contaminants PFOA and PFOS and reducing them in drinking water.
The Association is addressing the concerns of business owners and managers by including presentations on how to use finance to their advantage and another on creating a company culture that drives productivity. For technicians, there are several classes to choose from, including hands-on valve rebuilding classes, troubleshooting peristaltic pumps, along with many others.
