ACM Technologies, part of the ResinTech family of companies, held an Open House at its new Gardena facility, located in the South Bay section of Los Angeles, CA. Customers, vendors and neighboring companies were given tours of the new, state-of-the-art, ion exchange resin regeneration plant and laboratory. Guests enjoyed local barbeque and received raffle prizes.
This new plant will enable West Coast customers to send in their spent ion exchange resins for regeneration and subsequent reuse. The resins are typically used to purify metal-bearing rinse waters, process waters and other closed loop operations, as well as wastewater treatment prior to discharge and groundwater cleanup. ACM has an existing regeneration plant in the Baltimore, MD, area that has been in operation for more than 20 years.
“We are proud to operate this new regeneration facility and employ local workers here on the West Coast, where there is an essential need for water recycling and reuse,” said Mike Warner, President of ACM. “This regeneration service enables many industrial and manufacturing companies to treat, purify and recycle their process streams and wastewaters.”
