In accordance with the IAPMO Regulations Governing Committee Projects, two Tentative Interim Amendments (TIAs) to the 2015 edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code® (UPC) are being submitted for public comment. TIA UPC 002-15 revises text in UPC Sections 205.0 and 911.0 regarding circuit venting. TIA UMC 004-15 revises text in UMC Section 505.1 regarding ducts containing hazardous emissions. IAPMO invites all interested parties to review the proposed TIA on the IAPMO website under Uniform Plumbing Code/Proposed TIAs and respond by filling out the appropriate comment form (click on links above).
