New Pathways to the Certified Installer and Certified Water Specialist Certifications
WQA’s professional certification and training program has announced new pathways towards the Certified Installer and Certified Water Specialist certifications for experienced professionals.
Installers with two or more years of experience in installing POU/POE treatment may take a short, three-week instructor-led ethics course and exam review session in order to qualify for the Certified Installer examination. The next session will begin on October 13.
Water specialists with two or more years of experience in business-to-consumer water treatment have the option to test out of the training by passing the Assessing Water Quality challenge test, passing the Treating Aesthetic Contaminants challenge test, completing the Ethics Course, and submitting a verification of experience. The next course session will take place November 8-15.
