The International Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (IWSH) Foundation honored two volunteers for their participation and contributions to IWSH programs that seek to bring clean and safe, reliable sanitation to those in need. The winners, Sherry Bradley, director of the Bureau of Environmental Services for the Alabama Department of Public Health and director of the Black Belt Unincorporated Wastewater Program, and Michael Lavoie, a third-generation licensed plumber and plumbing inspector from Los Angeles, were honored during the opening session of the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials’ 93rd Annual Education and Business Conference. Both Bradley and Lavoie played a key role in the IWSH CPC Program that was launched in Lowndes County, AL, in March 2022.
