Presenter Tom Bruns, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at 120Water, will discuss the federal lead and copper rule, which was recently revised to include lead service-line replacement, re-evaluation of compliance sampling, and new action and trigger levels. Call for Speakers for 2023 WQA Convention
Those interested in speaking at the 2023 WQA Convention & Exposition on April 18-20, in Las Vegas, Nevada, can submit proposals for educational sessions. Educational sessions cover business operations topics appropriate for small or family-owned businesses, or technical topics related to POU/POE water treatment. Preference will be given to WQA members and registered exhibitors and sponsors.
Proposals for educational sessions are due by July 31, 2022, and must be submitted online using WQA’s form and guidelines at https://convention.wqa.org/.
WQA Mentoring Program Seeks Mentors and Mentees
The WQA Mentoring Program is accepting applications for mentors and mentees through August 25. This program can help develop advanced leadership skills while forging deeper engagement within WQA and the water treatment industry.
The mentorship program is free and will take place from June 2022 to April 2023. Participants must be WQA members and are asked to attend the 2022 WQA Mid-Year Leadership Conference taking place September 13-15 in Lake Tahoe, California, and/or the 2023 WQA Convention & Exposition taking place April 18-20 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
