Emerging Water Technology Symposium
The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), the Alliance for Water Efficiency (AWE), the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) and Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI), in cooperation with the World Plumbing Council (WPC), announce that registration for the seventh biennial Emerging Water Technology Symposium (EWTS) is now open. ASHRAE, IAPMO to Co-Publish Standards
ASHRAE and IAPMO have agreed to co-publish ASHRAE 191, a water-efficiency standard pertaining to mechanical system efficiency in buildings, with the IAPMO/ANSI Water Efficiency and Sanitation Standard (WE•Stand™). The two standards’ scopes are complementary, and co-publishing will provide users with the opportunity to reference and apply both documents in one publication. Click here to read the details.
IAPMO Standards Council Issues TIA UPC 002-21
The IAPMO Standards Council on March 11 issued one tentative interim amendment (TIA) affecting the 2021 edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC ®). TIA UPC 002-21 updated text in UPC Table 1701.1 pertaining to the ASSE 1055 standard edition and updates the title designation in Section 603.5.21. Click here for details.
