The Water Quality Association is encouraging members to get more involved with the water quality industry as a whole (and in governance of the Association in particular) through volunteering to serve on a WQA committee or task force. Committees meet during the WQA Convention and the Mid-Year Leadership Convention and conduct other business during occasional conference calls or virtual meetings. Visit each committee or task force’s individual web page for information on the committee’s purpose and for the volunteer application, which will be available online through Friday, January 25. Go to wqa.org/volunteer for information on the association’s nine committees and three task forces and where you are needed to help. You may apply for open seats on up to two committees; you also could consider serving an observer role.
