A Michigan-based manufacturer of the patented KDF® process media. KDF media are a replacement or supplement to existing fluid treatment for reducing or removing chlorine, lead, iron, hydrogen sulfide and other heavy metals through the natural process of electrochemical oxidation/reduction. KDF media are used in conjunction with activated carbon and as a pretreatment for RO membranes and IX resins. KDF 55 and 85 media are certified and listed under NSF Standards 42 and 61, and classified under US EPA as devices for control of bacteria, fungus, algae and mold.
