Goulds Water Technology, a Xylem brand, has released two new effluent pumps: Series EP04 and EP05 for Model 3871. Both products are specifically designed for effluent systems, homes, farms, heavy-duty sump, water transfer, and dewatering applications. The EP04 impeller features a thermoplastic semi-open design with vanes for mechanical seal protection, and the EP05 has a thermoplastic enclosed design for improved performance. Both models feature a rugged thermoplastic casing and base for superior strength and corrosion resistance, while the cast-iron motor housing efficiently transfers heat for improved strength and durability. Capable of running dry without damage to components, these pumps come with a severe-duty-rated, oil- and water-resistant power cable and heavy-duty upper and lower ball bearings.
