New York-based material supplier Alfa Chemistry has launched three new resins for ion exchange chromatography applications, mixed bed resins, chelating resins, and adsorbent resins. The mixed bed resins are a mixture of anion and cation exchange resins in a fixed resin. The chelating resins can remove heavy mental ions through a combination of ionic interaction as well as electrostatic interaction and coordination. The adsorbent resins are used to remove organic matter in wastewater, decolonize sugar solution, and to separate and refine natural products and biochemical resins. Customers are able to choose their required ion exchange resin according to the polymer types, moisture content, swelling rate, effective size, and ionic form.
