Groundwater Week 2018, held December 3-6 in Las Vegas, NV, drew 5,116 visitors, making it the seventh largest show in its 70-year history. Attendees from more than 30 countries and the US took part to network, earn continuing education credits, see and hear the latest and greatest in the industry and to have fun. The convention featured an educational lineup of 50+ workshops geared for water-well system professionals and 55+ platform and poster presentations covering 11 scientific topics designed for scientists and engineers. Nearly 300 exhibitors spanning 73,000 square feet of show floor space (including 31 first-time exhibitors) displayed their latest products for 12 hours over two days. In addition, NGWA and the Water Systems Council signed a five-year memorandum of understanding that provides a foundation for collaboration of future joint projects and initiatives.
