Bottled Water Hall of Fame honorees named

Past Chairwoman Shayron Barnes-Selby, VP of Government Affairs and Quality Services of DS Services of America, Inc. and Philippe Caradec, VP, Public Affairs and Sustainable Development of Danone Waters of America, Inc. were inducted into the Bottled Water Hall of Fame during the 2018 IBWA Annual Business Meeting. Barnes-Selby has devoted more than 30 years of work to the bottled water industry. In her current role, she represents and promotes the interests of DS Services with regulators and legislators at both the state and federal levels. She was previously DS Services’ Director of Public Policy and Communications. Her work during her 30-plus year career has focused on FDA regulatory compliance and policy, government and public affairs, as well as quality assurance and quality control. Caradec has been involved in the bottled water industry for more than 25 years. In 1992, he joined EVIAN North America, which also began his involvement with IBWA. Caradec handles the company’s government affairs, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility efforts, and also handles these duties for Happy Family and Nutricia North America.
