ResinTech has hired 26-year industry veteran Parag Deval as Director of International Sales and Business Development. His career has included significant roles with Auchtel Ltd. and Thermax. Deval comes to ResinTech from Aldex Chemical in Canada, where he directed the development and operation of a new resin manufacturing facility. A well-known industry speaker and author, he has received numerous industry awards and a US patent for removing bittering compounds from Stevia leaves by using ion exchange resin technology. Deval holds a Graduate Degree in chemical engineering from Pune University in India and a Postgraduate Diploma in business management from NMIMS.

Arna Ramic has joined ResinTech as an Ion Exchange Technologist. Previously she was an engineer for Environmental Resources Management’s Air Quality team. Ramic has authored several case studies and white papers on topics that include Evaluation of Dechlorinating Chemicals for Spent Membrane Cleaning Solutions and Removal of Technetium-99 on I-X Resin. A native of Bosnia, she moved to the US at age five and eventually earned a BS Degree in chemical engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle.
