National Water Research Institute (NWRI) announced it is seeking nominees for the 2018 Clarke Prize for excellence in water research. The award will be presented at the 25th anniversary of the Clarke Prize, to be held in fall 2018. Fields of interest include (but are not limited to) civil and environmental engineering, water sciences, biological sciences, health sciences, political sciences, physical and chemical sciences, and planning and public policy. WateReuse Arizona, AZ Water Association and NWRI announced the publication of Guidance Framework for Direct Potable Reuse in Arizona, a 114-page document meant to inform the state of Arizona as it develops regulations for direct potable reuse (DPR) that are protective of public health and effectively manage the state’s water resources.
