North America: Thomas Pipe acquired by Winsupply

Winsupply Inc. announced it has purchased Thomas Pipe & Supply, a Phoenix, AZ distributor of industrial pipe, valves and fittings. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed. Thomas Pipe & Supply co-owner Don Helmlinger Jr. will continue as President. In its co-ownership business model, Winsupply Inc. has majority equity in each of its locations, while the local company presidents (and sometimes, employees) own substantial equity.
