The International Water Association announced the re-election of Diane d’Arras as association President, after a unanimous vote. She has been an active member of the IWA for many years and served on the organization’s board for the last seven years, including one year of her initial two-year term as President. A civil engineer for 40 years, d’Arras became the first female President in 2016. Her second two-year term commences after the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition in Tokyo in September 2018. She will end her Presidency at the close of the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition in Copenhagen in 2020.
