North America: Florida plants honored

The Boynton Beach Ion Exchange Resin Plant and Water Treatment Plant in Florida was recently selected for the Envision Bronze Award from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI). The Boynton Beach East Water Treatment Plant processes 24 million gallons (90.8 million liters) of water per day with a state-of-the-art water pretreatment system that removes organic compounds and color from the water while reducing the use of chemicals.
