Olia named AXEON COO

AXEON Water Technologies announced the creation of a new COO position as part of the company’s leadership team. Filling this position is Michael Olia, who brings strong technical, operational, strategic and management experience gained over his 25-year executive career in international business and operations management at Burns & McDonnell and AMEC Engineering. Previously, he was the President and COO at IDRO Engineering Group where he led global operations, developed and managed a process-oriented system to support commercial growth. Olia earned his Masters Degree in industrial psychology and organizational management from the University of Hawaii. He will lead plans for continuous process improvement and streamlining product and technology development by creating a closer alignment between engineering, operations and product management.
