Asia: IE Expo deemed huge success

In May, IE Expo China once again demonstrated its flagship role for the Asian region, achieving growth in every area: visitors, exhibitors and floor space. During three days, industry experts had the opportunity to discover the latest innovations and solutions for water, waste, air and soil at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). More than 55,000 visitors (+28 percent) and 1,637 exhibitors (+26 percent) took part in the event, the highest international participation level ever for the 100,000-square-meters (+39 percent) trade show.
