The Water Well Trust (WWT) has expanded from six to 10 the number of Georgia counties (including Worth, Grady, Twiggs and Washington) eligible to receive assistance for drilling a new water well or rehabilitate an existing well. USDA grant monies will provide long-term, low-interest loans to applicants seeking new or improved water wells in the 10-county area, including several families that have been on a waiting list since 2012. Prospective applicants can download the application form and instruction letter from the website (waterwelltrust.org) by clicking Apply at the top of the home page.
