Industry veteran Mitchell Lipshultz went on his next journey to be with the love of his life, Harriette, on May 6. A first-generation American, he excelled at athletics in his Chicago youth, in the Navy and at the University of Cincinnati. Lipshultz was also a seasoned entrepreneur, a visionary who earned many patents (including one for a portable water purification system and a faucet that provided and used an air gap) and a staunch human rights advocate. He was a connoisseur of all that is good, amassed with decency and common sense. “And at the end of day, Dad always said his greatest invention and joy was his family,” said son Alfred.
