Intended to make handling and control more
manageable, HDPE milk jugs featuring an
off-center neck and handle have been
introduced from Uniloy Milacron, of
Manchester, Mich. The idea is to replicate
the balance of a pitcher. Uniloy’s pour-friendly
jugs can be produced with
dairy-industry-standard neck finishes. Plus,
there is no cycle-time penalty on standard
reciprocating blowmolding machines in sizes
of 2-5 liters.
