The 2009 WQA Mid-Year Leadership Conference was held September 16-18 at the Hilton Chicago/Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, Illinois. A good crowd was in attendance for this important annual event.
WQA Executive Director, Peter J. Censky, and WQA 2009/10 President, Vincent M. Kent, MP, CWS-I, CI, provided an overview of major industry issues, legislative and standards activities at the State of the Industry Luncheon.
A number of dealer-focused Educational Sessions as well as Leadership Conferences for the dealer, manufacturer/supplier, the international market and industrial and retail channels were also held.
Networking opportunities with leading manufacturers, suppliers and dealers were conducted with the Welcome Reception and the WQRF Benefit Reception, Dinner and Awards event. A tour and open house of the WQA Headquarters Office and Laboratory Facility was also conducted.
