New management for B&H
B&H Labeling Systems has appointed Bruce Andrade as vice president of operations. Andrade is responsible for providing operational leadership that supports the company’s strategy to supply superior labeling equipment and services. He brings more than 30 years of operations management experience with General Mills in plant operations, engineering, systems integration, finance, plant safety and environmental management to the position.

The company also announced the promotion of Flavio Mendes to the new position of Mexico field service manager. Mendes will be responsible for hiring and managing a number of B&H field service technicians to be located in various cities throughout Mexico to support the company’s substantial customer base there.  He will also be involved in other B&H initiatives in Mexico such as the opening of a Mexico City office and the creation of a local spare parts and change parts center. He holds an M.B.A. from Federal University Fluminense in Niteroi, Brazil, and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, English and French.

Rolan to lead AWWA
At its winter board meeting, the American Water Works Association board of directors chose Terry Rolan as president-elect. He will take office at the annual conference in San Francisco in June. As the director of waste management, Rolan currently oversees the water and wastewater utility for the city of Durham, N.C. “[The election] is an opportunity to give back some of what AWWA has given me in experience, training and information,” Rolan said.

ITT names new training manager
Mark Campbell has joined ITT Water Technology Inc. as training manager for all continuing education programs related to the company’s Goulds Pumps, Red Jacket Water Products and Marlow Pumps brands. Campbell takes over management of the company’s Pump School which has graduated more than 20,000 dealers and distributors since it’s inception in the early 1960s. Campbell began his career with Goulds Pumps in 1992 as a sales representative in the South Central Region.

Zee becomes ISA president
The Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society has announced Donald W. Zee will lead the ISA Executive Board as its 60th president. He is president of Don Zee Associates, a management consulting firm dedicated to executive search, placement and marketing assignments in the industrial measurement instrumentation, process automation systems and final element control markets. An ISA member since 1977, Zee has served the ISA Orange County Section in many posts, including president, treasurer, society delegate and program and membership chair.

Eurotherm appoints manager
Eurotherm, a manufacturer and supplier of industrial instrumentation for process control and data acquisition products, has appointed Michael R. DeMero as business development manager. DeMero will direct the sales and marketing efforts for the glass industry and selected specific accounts in the Americas, working closely with Eurotherm’s Global Initiative Teams. He has experience in a variety of sales and management positions in the test measurement, and sensors products markets.
