High arsenic levels in N.H.

Sciences at the University of New Hampshire Durham are warning that the state has some of the nation’s highest levels of arsenic, especially in water wells in the Merrimack Valley. A 2003 federal study showed that there are more public and private wells in southeast New Hampshire exposed to potentially harmful levels of arsenic than in most of the rest of New England.
