Researchers at Center for the Study of Biological Complexity at the University of Virginia, have sequenced the genome of C. hominis, commonly known as Crytosporidium. The genome sequence revels dozens of potential vaccine targets and is key in developing safer and more effective ways to control the common drinking water pathogen, researchers said.
