ISPE adds Tribe as advisor
ISPE announced the appointment of Bob Tribe as regulatory affairs advisor for the Asia-Pacific Division. In his new position, Tribe will work closely with ISPE President Robert Best to establish and enhance relationships with regulatory agencies throughout the Pacific Rim. Tribe, the former GMP auditor for the Therapeutic Goods Administration in Australia, will be based in Canberra, Australia.

KX promotes CFO to president
KX Industries, L.P has promoted Donald Caulfield, the firm’s chief financial officer, to the post of President/CFO. Caulfield has spent over 10 years with KX Industries assuming responsibilities over the years as controller, general manager and CFO. “Our customers and our people drive our success in the marketplace,” Caulfield said. “We will continue to provide exceptional customer service and bring new products to market as we meet the challenges of growth in a truly global market.”

Madaus joins Millipore
Millipore Corporation has appointed Martin D. Madaus, Ph.D., president and chief executive officer of the bioscience company that provides technologies, tools and services for the development and production of new therapeutic drugs. Madaus, the former head of Roche Diagnostics Corporation, will take the reins at Millipore by mid-February.

HVAC marketing team
Environmental Technologies International Inc., has established a separate marketing unit intended specifically to capitalize on the ability of its HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning system to provide very high purity water as a by-product at no additional cost. This unique marketing team will be composed of experts in those industries and processes for which high purity water is an essential component of their operations.

Healy-Ruff adds regional director
Healy-Ruff announces the hire of Angelo Polsinelli for the newly created position of director of business development for the Midwest Region. Polsinelli will be working with local representatives in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota and Iowa to help develop the company’s relationships with end-users, consulting engineers and contractors. Most recently with USFilter Control Systems where he worked as a branch manager for a similar territory, Polsinelli has over 20 years of experience in instrumentation and controls.

MIOX names new board
MIOX Corporation recently promoted various senior executives, and named William Obermann the new chief executive officer of the firm. Obermann has been serving as the president and chief operating office since joining MIOX in 1998. His appointment was announced along with the promotions of Rodney Herrington and Curtis Mitchke as senior vice presidents of the corporation.

Radke to head Siemens, USFilter
Roger Radke will succeed Andrew D. Seidel as head of Siemens Water Technologies and chief executive officer of USFilter Corporation. Radke, who joined USFilter as COO last August, has played integral roles within Siemens since 1989. He is the former president of Siemens Audiologische Technik GmbH. Seidel, and joined USFilter as a founding executive in 1991. He became CEO in 1999 and is expected to stay on for a period as an adviser.
