The following is an email sent out Jan. 2 by CWQA manager Constance Wrigley-Thomas with a .pdf file attached regarding the association’s victory—with the assistance of the Water Quality Association and Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating—in achieving a temporary reprieve by Quebec officials of enforcement of new plumbing code regulations that would restrict installation of point-of-use/point-of-entry water treatment equipment to only those that had achieved ANSI/NSF certification by an accredited third-party laboratory:

Good afternoon,

Please read the attached “Call to Action”. If appropriate, please distribute the attached to other water treatment dealers and manufacturers. We need to reach as many dealer/distributors as possible.

The “Industry Survey” is time-sensitive. We have requested that it be returned to CWQA by January 10, 2003.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Happy New Year!

Best regards,
Constance Wrigley-Thomas, Manager
