Polypropylene tubing

NewAge Industries offers Prolite® polypropylene tubing, a viable substitute for fluoropolymer tubing, which has been in short supply this year due to a shortage of raw materials. Substitution depends on each application’s requirements, but this tubing shares several performance characteristics with fluoropolymer, including chemical and corrosion resistance, low surface friction, and high dielectric strength. Additionally it is light weight, offers low moisture absorption and is made from a compound certified by NSF for drinking water applications (NSF-61). Available in sizes ranging from 0.25- through 1.25-inch (6.35- through 31.75-mm) OD. Custom options include non-stock sizes, color additives and thermoforming. A semi-rigid product, Prolite is best joined with push-to-connect fittings but may also be joined by welding.www.newageindustries.com/prolite.asp, info@newageindustries.com
