• Responsible for market access/channel development (distribution and manufacturers' representatives) and growth via existing accounts and new acquired accounts.
• Provide direction, feedback and support to internal departments
• Provide technical support, training and advice
• Communicate regularly and proactively with upper management as to progress, trends and potential problems/issues.
• Manage sales trips and activity to effectively and efficiently accomplish responsibilities and objectives
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY
• Provide direct input to marketing activities and requirements into responsible segments
• Help research and promote new product acquisitions and channel partnerships
• As needed, provide input or write technical articles, press releases or marketing materials
• Communicate and cooperate with varied departments and entities within the organization
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• 3-5 years direct sales experience, B.S. Degree and/or experience, water industry preferred
• Must become familiar with multiple aspects of Aries FilterWorks products, water treatment fundamentals pertaining to residential, commercial and industrial markets/applications.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the trends in the industry and technology and through ongoing educational certification process and/or association memberships (i.e. WQA Certification/membership).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent people skills.
• Proficient computer skills/knowledge of general MS Office and CRM software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to travel regularly ~50%
