Remembering an industry servant
Mike Speicher of Galesburg, MI, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on December 8, 2018, at the age of 67. He spent 30 years of his life dedicated to the water treatment industry and will truly be missed by those who knew him. Speicher joined the Water-Right team in 2010 as Regional Sales Manager for Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and western Kentucky. He was admired for his selflessness and always geared his efforts toward ways he could better support his coworkers and customers. Speicher’s gentle and consistent focus on others, especially Water-Right customers, helped shape the business to make it a better company overall, said President Kurt Gruett. As he gathered his water treatment knowledge over the years, he was always open to sharing his expertise to strengthen the industry. Speicher had a gift of giving his students a clear and concise understanding when they completed their training, especially in commercial water treatment-related topics. His wife, children, grandchildren and many colleagues will continue to cherish his memory.
